The final of the New York Cricket Region (NYCR) 2010 Mayor's Cup Twenty20 Cricket tournament was played at 80th Street, Canarsie Park, Brooklyn on Saturday June 5, 2010. The two teams which participated in the final were Commonwealth Cricket League representing the Bronx Borough and Brooklyn Cricket League representing Kings County. Brooklyn Cricket League emerged as winner by 26 runs.
The match started at 10.00am and Commonwealth CL won the toss, invited Brooklyn CL to take first strike and they scored 162 for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Gregory Anthony was top scorer in the match with 73 runs off 50 balls and Romeno Deam with 29 in 19 balls. Jermaine Lawson had figures of 2 for 28 in his allotted 4 overs and Mohamed Nadir 2 for 13 in 3 overs.
Commonwealth replied with 136 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs. Vejay Seonarine scored 55 off 45 balls. Andre Kirton had bowling figures of 4 overs, 1 maiden, 13 runs and 4 wickets.
